Christmas Countdown!
Posted by Helen Halloran on Dec 14th 2016
Christmas always comes on the 25th of December but for some reason it still manages to sneak up on everyone. Fortunately, we can take care of your orders right up until the 24th when we 'll be closing at 2 to celebrate with our families. We'll stay closed until Tuesday January 3rd, at which time we will be fully re-stocked with all new fresh flowers and plants and a rejuvenated staff.
Currently we are still getting locally grown poinsettias daily and have them in all sizes and colors in simple pots or all dressed up in fancy containers. One of my favorites is our December Garden, which includes a small poinsettia as well as a cyprees tree, mini cyclamen and Christmas cactus all nestled in a vine basket and trimmed with pine cones and ribbon. It makes a great gift for the whole family to enjoy.
We've added some brand new holiday floral designs to our offerings this year as well as some of the favorites from past years.Balsam and Burlap has been very popular and includes a fun keepsake ornament to hang on the tree each year for a lasting memory. Another arrangement that includes a keepsake ornament is called 'Tis the Season which features colorful red, green and white flowers in a red vase with silver accents. You can't go wrong with red roses and holly which are featured in our Christmas Rose Bowl and is always one of our best sellers.
Stop by and see all the beautiful flowers and gift ideas while enjoying a cup of hot mulled cider while you browse. You can also shop on line for convenience or look at our web site and call with any questions. We can usually customize anything you see on our site if you want something changed, and we have so many other things not on our web site it's always a good idea to call if you don't see what you want.
All of us at Concord Flower Shop wish you a happy holiday season and a wonderful, peaceful, healthy New Year!
