It seems like the months just fly by faster and faster. We know you've been seeing Christmas displays in the big box stores since September, but let's not forget about Thanksgiving! What's not to love about a holiday that's all about three of my favorite things? Family, food and of course, flowers are what make my Thanksgiving special. Oh and I have to admit that I especially look forward to my daughter's apple pie for dessert, too! 

Gathering around the table with the people you love, a traditional meal of turkey and all the trimmings, and a special centerpiece featuring warm fall colors make Thanksgiving a special day for sure. It seems like it's the least commercial of all the holidays in the United States and maybe that's why a lot of stores jump right past it and into Christmas. Here at Concord Flower Shop we are currently really focused on autumn and although you'll see a few hints of Christmas in the shop now, we like to emphasize the fresh seasonal colors and textures of November. Autumn is so fleeting; let's enjoy it while it lasts!
